we moved!!

As many of you know we have moved finally, with Jaren not being able to work anymore we needed a bigger place the 2 bedroom was getting to little. We were able to find a house in the same neighborhood, same friends for the kids same ward, it has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I will post pictures later. We have really enjoyed it, it is nice to be able to spread out a little bit. The kids all have their very OWN room and we have enough rooms for a toy room WOW we are spoiled. My kids have enjoyed their new freedom they are hardly ever home they are riding bikes with friends or at friends houses. Thank you to everyone that helped make it possible, thanks for boxes and tape guns and the elders quorum in our ward that were so willing to help move us. We still haven't unpacked everything it will probably take awhile since I have been unpacking when I have time, (which I don't have a lot of). I figure if I at least unpack one box at a time it will get done but slowly. Thanks to those who helped unpack my kitchen and food so that I could cook and have dishes to eat on.

First Day of School!!

We made it through the summer and the kids started school. RaKelle started 5th grade Ashlyn started 3rd grade, and my baby (don't tell him I called him that) starts Kindergarten on Thursday. I can't believe how fast they grow up all of my kids will be in school now. They really enjoyed the first week, they aren't fighting to get up in the morning yet. I also started another semester of school on Wednesday, I am taking English 1010 and a music class. It will be interesting this semester they are both online classes and I have to log onto to the English class every Monday morning at 7 for a live chat. Hopefully I can do my chat and try to get everyone ready in the morning, we shall see wish me luck.

After Ashlyn's oral surgery

After Ashlyn had her 2 front teeth placed back in her mouth a week later she was smiling again. She was such a trooper she didn't even complain at all I am glad she got better she looked miserable. Luckily it all happened before school started. She was really mad because the dentist wouldn't let her play soccer she was furious. We got her a mouth guard so now she can play again and she was very happy about that.

Ashlyn's accident

What a summer!! Ashlyn was coming in for dinner about 3 weeks ago and fell getting off of her bike and did a faceplant into the cement knocked out her two front (permanent) teeth and bit right through her lip, she was bleeding a lot because it was a mouth owie, her friend handed me her teeth and asked if Ashlyn was ok and left. She was freaking out because she didn't want to go to the dentist. I couldn't get a hold of her dentist so we went up to Primary Childrens Hospital and they called in the on call dentist. He was excellent and she was so brave. He made her feel so comfortable, now we have dentist appointments every 3 to 4 months for root canals for the next 2 years because her teeth fell all the way out and didn't break we put them in milk shortly after they fell out and that is what saved them. Lesson #1 if your teeth fall out put them in milk. She was miserable for about a week she is doing much better now and she even got back on her bike the other day and rode it around.

Thanks Jim and Sue for letting us stay with you and for entertaining the kids, they have asked everyday since then when we are going back to stay again, we will have to try and come again this summer.

We also made a trip to Newport Beach that was a lot of fun! Grandma was just like the kids playing in the water. She was having a blast, It was a weird feeling to be on the sand and the waves would come up and wipe the sand out from under your feet it was cool! Braxton almost got sucked in a couple of times luckily Grandma was there to save him. We collected a lot of seashells.

Ashlyn on the other hand was terrified of the characters she disappeared and I asked where she went and Jaren said "Look under the table" sure enough there she was watching every footstep of the character that was there at the time! she finally came around at the end because Jasmine came over and the Mad Hadder it was so funny to watch her face and she would not take her eye off of the characters it was hillarious!

We were in Disneyland for Braxton's 5th birthday and he had so much fun on his birthday we got to eat breakfast with goofy and his friends Braxton was in 7th heaven if you can't tell by his face! They got to sing and dance and eat whatever they wanted for breakfast, they even had a choice of peanut butter and jelly pizza, Ashlyn said it was pretty good! when she stopped worrying enough to eat. RaKelle got really embarrassed because she accidentally dropped a glass plate,(who has glass dishes at a childrens restaurant?) RaKelle came to the table and said Goofy isn't the only that drops dishes! I dropped one!

Disneyland fun

We had the oppurtunity to take a vacation to Disneyland! It was a blast, the kids loved everyminute of it, I of course was totally worn out, my feet were killing me by the end of the trip but it was so much fun! Jaren was exhausted also, I think we wore Grandma and Grandpa out to put they enjoyed it as well. It was alot of fun to go on a vacation we have never been to Disneyland or even in California so what an adventure. I will never live there because traffic there is HORRIBLE!!

Ashlyn's special day

Hello everyone!!!
We had a very special weekend last weekend our little Ashlyn Rose was baptized. What a special day for her and we were excited because Jaren was blessed with the strength and the ability to baptize and confirm her. She was really nervous and so was Jaren. I am so greatful for the family and friends that were there to support her and our family.

RaKelle has been taking swimming lessons and Ashlyn and Braxton are going to be starting soccer again.

We are leaving on Sunday to go to Disneyland!! yeah I can't wait I think Jaren and I are more excited than the kids are. My friend from work Ronni made us all a package with stuff for the travel to Disneyland she is so creative she also made us all luggage tags for our luggage how cute!! I will hopefull post some pictures when we get back.

Hello everyone, I can't believe it is already February. We have a lot going on right now, I have quit crossing, I have been a crossing guard for the City of West Jordan for 9 years now, and have finally decided that I should be done. I have been working for Seaman Leavitt Insurance for the past year as well as crossing guard and the insurance company has decided to offer me more hours, we decided I could not pass up the offer, Crossing guard was a good job when I needed it it made it so I was able to be a mom and still get some money for the household. Jaren and I are kind of changing roles in our house he is not able to work much anymore.

We are getting way excited for our family trip to Disneyland we can hardly wait. We are planning on buying a new digital camera for our trip, and then I will be able to download pictures to our blog so it will not be so BLAH!!!
